The three questions I ask myself every day

August 3, 2020

~Love. Faith. Serve.~

I have a daily practice (usually for me before my evening prayers) of reflecting on how my day went, and part of that reflection is to ask myself these three questions: did I show love? Was my faith central in my heart and decision-making? Was I of service to someone in some way? If we are striving to be better tomorrow than we were today, we have to ask ourselves the questions that keep us aligned with our core values and beliefs. We will all slip up and have bad days sometimes, that is a part of being human. But if we reflect daily, and bring ourselves back to our core values, we can then step into tomorrow with renewed focus and determination. And isn’t that the essence of being on a path of growth and development? Every day, one step at a time.

How do you reflect and keep moving forward?
